In 1976, Dr. Watkins and his wife, Gisela Watkins, started making liquid extracts on their kitchen table for family and Dr. Watkins’ consultees. Their goal was to make a product that would absorb more easily and work faster than tablets or capsules. It didn’t take long until many other people heard about the extracts and insisted on having them too. Shortly thereafter, manufacturing expanded to include the breezeway, much of the house and the garage. At that point, the decision was made to acquire Pure Herbs’ first building. As the product line grew, the dedication to quality remained steadfast.
